My name is Dimitra Chompitaki (pronounced Hobitaki in Greek) and I am a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, University of Crete, under the supervision of professor Thanases Pheidas. 


I am studying problems of decidability in Algebra, Number Theory and Analysis, roughly speaking,  trying to find where is the limit between what a computer can or can not do. These questions are extensions of Hilbert’s Tenth Problem.
