Cretan Stars

Anogia, 1–3 November 2025

Scope:

The workshop focuses on general relativistic descriptions of ponderable matter, and explores how different configurations of matter interact with the geometry of space-time. Kinetic matter models have given insights into the dynamics of galaxies, and relativistic fluid models are relevant both for the evolution of compact objects, such as a neutron stars, and the formation of large-scale structures in cosmology. The workshop discusses both current mathematical challenges, and observational aspects.

The event will take place at the conference center in Anogia. Everyone is welcome to attend the activities without registration.
